SeaDream Yacht Club has announced a significant increase in its 2026 Norwegian voyages, responding to unprecedented demand after the 2025 sailings sold out rapidly.
- The 2025 voyages achieved a ‘record-breaking’ pace of sales, prompting SeaDream to more than double its offerings for the following year.
- The expanded itineraries will encompass various Norwegian highlights, including fjord sailings and visits to small communities, showcasing the country’s natural beauty.
- SeaDream II, a newly upgraded vessel, will operate these voyages, providing two distinct itineraries: The Trollfjord & Lofoten Islands and Yachting The Norwegian Fjords.
- The surge in interest follows the return of Mark Schmitt as the sales director for the UK and Ireland, aiming to strengthen the cruise line’s market presence.
SeaDream Yacht Club, known for its luxurious yacht experiences, has responded to exceptionally high demand by expanding its offerings in Norway for 2026. This decision comes after the company’s 2025 voyages were sold out at an unprecedented pace, far exceeding expectations. ‘The demand for 2025 surpassed our wildest imaginations,’ stated Atle Brynestad, SeaDream’s founder, owner, and chair.
The rapid sell-out of 2025 expeditions has led SeaDream Yacht Club to more than double its sailings for the 2026 season. These voyages, ranging from seven to eleven nights, will feature encounters with Norway’s awe-inspiring nature, late-night departures, overnight stays in Ålesund or the Lofoten Islands, and visits to charming small communities. As Brynestad further explains, the itineraries are comprised of ‘some of the most breath-taking, inspiring, and unique destinations in the Northern Hemisphere’.
The voyages are set to be operated by SeaDream II, a recently upgraded vessel that will offer two main itineraries: the Trollfjord & Lofoten Islands and Yachting The Norwegian Fjords. Before gracing Norway with its presence, SeaDream II will commence its 2026 European tour with an eight-day journey across Portugal, Spain, and France, starting in Lisbon and concluding in Bordeaux, including memorable overnights in Vigo, Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
This strategic expansion and scheduling align with the rejoining of Mark Schmitt, who has returned to the company as the sales director for the UK and Ireland. His role is instrumental in enhancing SeaDream’s market presence in the region, ensuring that the company meets the growing demand for its unique yachting experiences.
SeaDream’s expanded Norwegian voyages for 2026 underscore a strategic response to unprecedented demand, illustrating the enduring appeal of luxury yachting experiences.
