In a move to showcase its ongoing commitment to luxury, Regent Seven Seas Cruises hosted an ‘ultimate ship visit’ event aboard the Seven Seas Navigator. The event took place in Fusina, with several travel agents experiencing what the Regent brand defines as luxury cruising. Despite being the line’s oldest and smallest vessel, built in 1991, the Navigator continues to captivate a diverse clientele each year. As noted by regional sales manager Georgia Lewis, it represents a unique blend of intimacy and grandeur, able to accommodate up to 490 passengers across 354 suites. A defining feature of this ship is its crew-to-guest ratio, which is among the highest in the industry, with 315 staff members ensuring exceptional service.
During the visit, agents had the opportunity to explore the ship’s four inclusive dining venues: Compass Rose, The Pool Grill, Prime 7, and Sette Mari at La Veranda—each offering a distinct culinary experience. Beyond dining, the Navigator boasts an array of amenities, from entertainment spaces and sports areas to a well-equipped gym, a pool deck, and numerous bars, all designed to provide an all-encompassing cruise experience. This attention to detail is part of the vessel’s allure, maintaining its reputation as a quintessential luxury cruise ship set to enter dry dock for refurbishment next year.
The event was further enriched by a parallel visit to the iconic Hotel Cipriani in Venice, established in 1958 by Giuseppe Cipriani, the visionary behind Harry’s Bar and the inventor of the Bellini cocktail. This added layer of cultural and historical engagement underlines Regent’s broader strategy. The timing of this visit coincides with Regent’s plans to launch the Seven Seas Grandeur, promising even greater luxuries come November 2023. This visit is emblematic of Regent’s strategic efforts to strengthen relationships with travel agents, offering them first-hand insights into the lavish experiences they can promise their clients.
This strategic initiative by Regent reinforces its role as a leading luxury cruise provider through direct engagement with key travel partners.
