Shahzad, who boasts over two decades of experience in the travel sector, will now take on responsibilities that include mentoring fellow advisors, supporting training initiatives, and co-presenting at various InteleTravel events.
In June, InteleTravel experienced a remarkable 57% increase in revenue compared to the same month last year. This growth is reflective of the company’s robust performance and strategic expansion in the Irish market. One standout figure includes the rise in the average booking value by 23% to €1,202. Significantly, one advisor secured a booking worth €64,700 for a Disneyland Paris holiday.
The ascent to becoming an Ambassador was not instantaneous for Shahzad. Her journey involved over a year of dedicated efforts, including completing comprehensive training modules and demonstrating her capabilities as an effective presenter. Shahzad expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating her intent to assist other advisors in achieving success.
InteleTravel, which now has over 700 advisors in Ireland, continues to see extraordinary growth, with an overall increase in 2024 revenues by 75% compared to the previous year. This expansion is further supported by the business model, which allows advisors to scale their operations via a one-off joining fee and ongoing monthly costs.
Julie Magill, operations director at one of InteleTravel’s suppliers, Travel Solutions, highlighted the increasing demand for summer travel, short breaks, and holidays to the US and ski destinations. According to Magill, “the growth we’re witnessing is just the beginning.” Tricia Handley-Hughes echoed these sentiments, noting the extraordinary demand in Ireland which surpassed expectations.
