Prestige Travel is set to conduct its inaugural fam trip to Australia, offering a select group of five agents the opportunity to explore some of Australia’s most picturesque regions from November 3 to 14. This immersive experience is part of the ‘Linger Longer’ campaign, focusing on showcasing South Australia and the Northern Territory. The initiative is designed to not only highlight these areas as prime destinations but also to encourage visitors to extend their stays and fully engage with the local culture and environment.
Central to the ‘Linger Longer’ campaign is the idea of promoting in-depth travel experiences across Australia and New Zealand. The campaign aims to foster tourism by encouraging travellers to discover the regions’ unique offerings, ranging from breathtaking landscapes to complex cultural tapestries. As Jenny Taylor Page, the ambassador for the Australia and New Zealand programme, emphasised, “The diverse regions of Australia and New Zealand offer countless unique experiences, and as specialists, we aim to highlight these in our itineraries.”
The fam trip requires agents to register by August 31, meeting several eligibility conditions to qualify. Participation is contingent upon attaining the Aussie Specialist Status and successfully completing the South Australia and Northern Territory modules. This selective process ensures that participants are well-prepared to promote these destinations effectively.
The campaign includes exclusive travel packages that offer a mix of adventure and leisure. For example, the 13-night Adventure in the Northern Territory package, priced from £6,290 including flights, encompasses three nights in Darwin with activities such as a sunrise jet ski tour, and visits to other iconic locations like Kakadu National Park and Uluru. Another offering is the 16-night Linger Longer in South Australia itinerary, starting at £5,398 including flights, which takes travellers through alluring sites such as the Eyre Peninsula and Barossa Valley.
Prestige Travel’s initiative underscores the potential for deeper, culturally rich travel experiences in Australia’s diverse landscapes.
