Protected Trust Services Limited (PTS) has severed ties with Trivoyage following consumer complaints and changes in company directorship.
- Trivoyage ceased its operations as an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (Atol) holder on March 1st, 2024.
- PTS confirmed that all existing bookings were honoured, with no future obligations remaining following the termination in September 2023.
- The removal of Trivoyage from the Companies Register occurred before its dissolution in February 2024.
- Trivoyage was initially established in 2018, with significant leadership changes occurring last year.
Protected Trust Services Limited (PTS) made the decisive move to terminate its franchise arrangement with Trivoyage after a series of consumer complaints surfaced, coupled with changes in the company’s leadership. The action was taken as a response to protect consumer interests and maintain PTS’s commitment to high standards of service and reliability.
Trivoyage, which ceased trading as an Atol holder on March 1, 2024, had its membership with PTS discontinued in September 2023. This decision came after several consumers reported issues with the company’s services, prompting PTS to step in and disassociate from the troubled firm.
According to Emma Collis, executive director at PTS, all bookings under Trivoyage were honoured and fulfilled as part of the disassociation process. She assured stakeholders that there were no remaining obligations post-termination, indicating that PTS managed the transition smoothly to safeguard consumer rights and interests.
In a further development, Trivoyage was officially removed from the Companies Register on February 7, 2024, and was subsequently dissolved on February 13, 2024. This marked the end of Trivoyage’s legal presence as a corporate entity.
Established in September 2018 by Muthuraja Mani, Trivoyage underwent a pivotal change last year when Mani resigned as the sole director in August 2023, passing the leadership baton to Mohamad Asif. This transition in leadership was a critical factor in the unfolding events that led to PTS’s decision to sever ties.
The removal of Trivoyage from PTS highlights the company’s firm stance on consumer protection and service integrity.
