Pre-registration for the riverboat is already underway, with sales expected to commence this coming August.
Designed by Adriana Granato of the Milan-based Studio Ibsen, the ‘Pure Amazon’ features 10 suites and two single cabins, combining modern luxury with traditional craftsmanship from local artisans. These design elements aim to provide an authentic and immersive experience for the guests, reinforcing the cultural heritage of the Amazon region.
The riverboat offers a wide range of features including indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining room, a wellness area, and a gym. These amenities ensure that passengers enjoy a comfortable and holistic travel experience while exploring the pristine Amazon area.
Guests aboard the ‘Pure Amazon’ will be treated to guided excursions led by expert guides. Activities include nature walks, visits to local villages, and participation in community-led conservation initiatives. Moreover, passengers can engage in kayaking, fishing for piranhas on the Samiria River, and night excursions to witness nocturnal rainforest creatures.
The itineraries available on the ‘Pure Amazon’ are designed to cater to both short trips and extended journeys. Travellers can choose from three- or four-night itineraries, or combine them into a comprehensive seven-night cruise. These options are available as part of A&K’s small group journeys and tailor-made tours.
