In a significant move towards enhancing agent proficiency, Not Just Travel orchestrated a series of overseas trips throughout September. These events were part of an extensive training and development programme, witnessing the participation of nearly 200 travel consultants who explored diverse locations including Mauritius, Antigua, Barbados, Ibiza, Rome, and Peru. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to providing immersive experiences that equip agents with practical skills and strategic insights to bolster their businesses.
Among the highlights of these trips were two distinct ‘Elite Experiences’, designed to offer premium mentorship opportunities. One such experience took place across various luxury Beachcomber Resorts in Mauritius, attended by 32 consultants and led by co-founder Paul Harrison. Meanwhile, a parallel event unfolded with 28 franchisees exploring Sandals Resorts in Antigua and Barbados, hosted by co-founder Steve Witt. These Elite Experiences are considered transformative, allowing agents to detach from their routine operations, critically analyse their business performance, and devise growth strategies.
Additionally, a noteworthy gathering, the Platinum Get-Together, saw 130 agents embark on the Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady for a week-long cruise in the Mediterranean, featuring key trade partners. This voyage not only facilitated networking but also provided a platform for agents to understand the cruise experience from a first-hand perspective, enhancing their ability to recommend and sell such experiences with authority.
The month concluded with specialised trips, such as an Elite Experience golf trip to Mauritius and a charity trek to Machu Picchu, aimed at both team building and corporate social responsibility. These excursions were not merely for leisure but served as pivotal learning forums where agents could exchange insights and experiences, ultimately benefiting their client interactions.
The forward-looking travel firm has already scheduled additional ventures to Crete, Florida, and an exciting ski trip to the Alps in 2025, showcasing their continued investment in agent development. Such initiatives are anticipated to further empower agents, providing them with the distinctive edge needed to thrive in a competitive market.
Not Just Travel exemplifies forward-thinking strategies through immersive agent training programmes, ensuring enhanced service delivery and business growth.
