Fifteen of Hays Travel’s top-performing cruise agents were recently recognised for their outstanding sales achievements with an exclusive, all-expenses-paid trip to the United States. This endeavour, which aimed to acknowledge their hard work and success over the past year, was organised by the head of Hays Travel’s homeworking division, Tanya Cooper, who expressed that the trip served as a form of gratitude towards the agents.
Departing from Heathrow, the group flew with Virgin Atlantic to New York, where they spent the first night soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The following day, the participants embarked on the Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas for a sunset sail from Manhattan Harbour, which Tanya Cooper described as ‘the ultimate sundowner moment.’ This set the tone for an extraordinary journey ahead.
Further adventures awaited the group as they voyaged to Florida, where they explored Cape Canaveral, renowned for its space-related attractions. Their voyage also included a stop at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s exclusive private island, providing them with experiences distinct to those immersive environments.
On the fifth day of their journey, the agents visited Sandals Royal Bahamian, an exotic all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas, allowing them an opportunity to unwind before rejoining the Oasis of the Seas for their journey back to New York. This segment of the trip provided not just relaxation but also valuable insights into premium travel offerings.
Before concluding their travel, the agents toured the recently inaugurated Virgin Hotel in New York, which marked the end of their transatlantic voyage. Personal travel consultant Catherine Nathwani expressed her appreciation for the experience, noting the knowledge and insights gained across different brands and locations, underscoring the educational value embedded within the leisure.
This rewarding journey commemorated the remarkable accomplishments of Hays Travel’s leading cruise agents, providing them with an enriching and memorable experience.
