NTS donates high-tech wheelchair to Wounded Warrior regiment

National Technical Systems, Inc. (“NTS”), a provider of qualification testing, inspection, and certification solutions, has announced it has donated an Action TrackStander, an all-terrain high-tech wheelchair, to the Wounded Warrior Regiment, the company said.

The Action TrackStander allows severely injured service members to enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.

The Wounded Warrior Regiment is a Marine Corps organization that is dedicated to helping injured Marines and Sailors return to pre-deployment lives. The recipient of the wheelchair is a former US Marine Corps Corporal who lost his left leg, ruptured his eardrums, and suffered severe shrapnel wounds throughout his body.

NTS collaborated with Action TrackChair, the manufacturer of the Action TrackStander, to ensure the wheelchair operates effectively in electromagnetic environments.

National Technical Systems, Inc. (NTS) serves a broad range of industries, including the civil aviation, space, defense, nuclear, telecommunications, industrial, electronics, medical, and automotive end markets.
