Limelight Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:LLNW), a global provider of digital content delivery, has reported revenue of USD 50.2 million for the second quarter of 2018, up 11% compared to USD 45.4 million in the second quarter of 2017, the company said.
Currency did not materially impact reported revenue in the quarter.
Gross margin was 49.4% in the second quarter of 2018, an increase of 230 basis points from 47.1% in the second quarter of 2017.
On a GAAP basis, Limelight reported net income of USD 15.2 million, or USD 0.14 per basic share and USD 0.13 per fully diluted share, for the second quarter of 2018, compared to a net loss of USD 1.6 million, or USD 0.01 per basic share, in the second quarter of 2017. Net income in the second quarter of 2018 included USD 14.9 million of non-operating income (USD 0.13 per basic share and USD 0.12 per fully diluted share) related to a settlement and patent license agreement.
