Entrust Datacard, a provider of trusted identity and secure transaction technology solutions, has announced its contribution to the new IIC IoT Security Maturity Model: Description and Intended Use whitepaper, the company said.
The Security Maturity Model (SMM) is designed to provide actionable guidance to organizations looking at the security of their IoT solution.
The SMM builds upon the Industrial Internet Security Framework (IISF) that was introduced by the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) in 2016. Sandy Carielli, director of security technologies for Entrust Datacard, co-authored the new SMM whitepaper in conjunction with other security leaders who are also members of the IIC.
