Peraton appoints president of communications sector

Peraton has announced the appointment of David Myers as president of its Communications sector, effective February 20, 2018, the company said.

In this role, Myers will lead the sector´s strategy development and execution, and its focus on continued program performance and profitable growth. The Communications sector provides mission-critical, advanced communications services to Peraton´s intelligence, defense, civil and commercial customers. Additionally, the sector will be responsible for the company´s continued growth in the government satellite and terrestrial communications markets.

With more than two decades of results-driven experience, Myers is a recognized leader within the telecommunications and information technology sectors.

Most recently, he served as president and CEO of DataPath, Inc., a private equity-owned spin-out from Rockwell Collins focused on engineering, manufacturing and deployment of tactical communications systems and field services for the aerospace, broadcast, government and infrastructure markets.
