Securus Technologies reveals management transition plan

Securus Technologies, a provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring, has announced a management transition plan first socialized in 2014, the company said.

Robert E. (“Bob”) Pickens will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer, and Richard A. (“Rick”) Smith will assume the role of Senior Advisor to the board of directors at Securus Technologies.

Prior to serving as President in 2014, Pickens held the positions of Vice President of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer.
