Philippine Airlines (PAL) has seen an overall growth rate of 39% on its UK-Japan traffic this year, the company said.
This is based on numbers of passengers originating from the UK and connecting to PAL´s five Japanese destinations via its hub in Manila.
PAL are expecting further growth with the increased capacity that will be provided as they continue to phase in their reconfigured A330 aircraft operating at Japan´s Narita, Haneda and Osaka airports.
Asia´s first airline and the country´s flag carrier, PAL operates an extensive route network of 46 international destinations around the world. Non-stop daily flights from London Heathrow to Manila connect passengers to 32 domestic destinations and beyond – Japan among them.
Their non-stop daily flights from London Heathrow to Manila connect passengers with five destination points in Japan: Tokyo Narita, Tokyo Haneda, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka. All flights from the UK to Japan are via PAL´s dedicated terminal in Manila.
PAL also offer flights from Cebu to Osaka and Tokyo on a daily basis, and to Nagoya on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as daily flights from Taipei to Osaka. They also offer a number of domestic codeshare flights within Japan in partnership with All Nippon Airways (ANA) and ANA Wings
