BlackBerry reports record software and services revenue in Q2

BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ:BBRY)(TSX:BB), a global software provider of securing, connecting and mobilizing enterprises, has reported financial results for the three months ended August 31, 2017, the company said.

For the second quarter, total revenue was USD 249 million (non-GAAP) and USD 238 million (GAAP).

Record software and services revenue of USD 196 million (non-GAAP) and USD 185 million (GAAP).

Operating income was USD 29 million (non-GAAP) and USD 22 million (GAAP).

Total cash balance was USD 2.5 billion at the end of the quarter.
