Operation Airdrop Sends Repair Teams To Harvey Victims

While making Operation Airdrop relief flights, pilot Brett Hobson of Comfort Experts Heating and Cooling in Ft. Worth noticed that supplies were only part of what the Texas coast needed to recover: he reached out to his friends Fred Bilbo of Quality Cooling in Abilene and Troy Dassonville of A/C Contractors in Longview to begin teaming up to send air conditioning parts, equipment and certified repair technicians from across Texas to areas stricken by Harvey, the companies said.

Temperatures in the Houston and surrounding areas expected to reach the low 90s over the next week, making air conditioning repairs a critical service to the elderly, the very young and those in ill health.

Operation Airdrop was formed August 29th to deliver relief supplies to hard to reach areas along the Texas Gulf Coast. The group can be followed at operation-airdrop.com.
