AT&T shovels USD 325m into Denver local networks

AT&T (NYSE: T) has invested more than USD 325m in its Denver area wireless networks during 2014-2016, the company said.

These investments enhance reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and businesses. They also improve critical services that support public safety and first responders.

In 2016, AT&T made 362 wireless network upgrades in the Denver area including adding new cell sites, boosting network capacity and launching antenna systems at large, public venues.

The AT&T LTE network covers nearly 400 million people in North America. Notable Denver-area network enhancements in 2016 included antenna systems to boost mobile Internet coverage at Denver International Airport´s Westin Hotel and Transit Center, Cherry Creek Mall and Dick´s Sporting Goods Park.
