Virgin America reports 13% capacity increase in October 2016

Virgin America Inc. (NASDAQ: VA) has reported October 2016 traffic, measured in revenue passenger miles, (RPMs) increased 13.6 percent on capacity compared to RPMs in October 2015, the company said.

Available seat miles (ASMs) were 1,220,486 in October 2016, compared to 1,101,399 in October 2015, representing a 10.8 percent increase.

Load factor was 84.4 percent, an increase of 2.1 points from October 2015. The number of onboard passengers increased 9.2 percent from the same month last year.
