Hawaiian Airlines, in collaboration with Walt Disney Studios, has launched the first of three custom Airbus A330 aircraft adorned with imagery from Disney´s animated feature “Moana,” the company said.
The company said inaugural decal design features four characters from the movie on Hawaiian´s fuselage. Next month it plans to reveal two additional livery designs featuring custom-made decals that show the Moana characters interacting with the planes. The artwork, created by Walt Disney Animation Studios in collaboration with Hawaiian´s team, reimagines each aircraft as a modern-day voyaging canoe, flying the film´s characters to new destinations.
Hawaiian also announced the Hawaiian Airlines Wayfinder caption contest for fans in the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
