Alaska Airlines begins nonstop flights to Detroit

Alaska Airlines said that Detroit has become its 77th nonstop destination out of Seattle, with the launch of daily, nonstop service.

“Expanding our network to connect the Seattle area to Detroit´s industry and culture will benefit our business and leisure customers alike,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines´ senior vice president of communications and external relations. “Travelers with a flair for adventure will also enjoy the new route, with the opportunity to explore Motown and scenic Michigan, which is surrounded by several of the majestic Great Lakes.”
