Iron Mountain names new senior vice president, general manager, data management

Iron Mountain Inc. (NYSE: IRM) said it has announced that Eileen Sweeney, formerly of CSC, has joined the company to lead its data management business segment, a USD400m global operation.

Sweeney will report directly to Iron Mountain president and CEO William L. Meaney.

In her new role, Sweeney will oversee Iron Mountain´s global data management business including offsite tape vaulting, archival tape management, asset and media destruction, and data restoration. The data management business provides service to more than 30,000 customers across 75 markets via nearly 100 data management facilities. Sweeney will be responsible for the continued development of the data management portfolio to support customers´ evolving information management needs.
