United Airlines to help provide meals during Feeding America's Hunger Action month

4 September 2014

During Feeding America´s Hunger Action month, which takes place every September, United Airlines and its customers will help provide one million meals through sales of its onboard snack boxes.

Customers can help fight hunger through their purchase of Choice Menu snack boxes onboard United flights worldwide.

One dollar from each snack box purchase benefits Feeding America, the nation´s leading domestic hunger-relief organization. With its buying power, Feeding America can help provide nine meals for every USD1 contributed.

United Airlines and United Express operate an average of more than 5,200 flights a day to 374 airports across six continents. For more information, visit, follow @United on Twitter. United´s parent is United Continental Holdings, Inc (NYSE: UAL).
