Gulf Air chooses Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro on iPad

Jeppesen, a part of Boeing Commercial Aviation, said it recently signed a new three-year service contract with Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain´s national carrier, to provide the airline with Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro electronic flight bag services on iPad.

The agreement allows Gulf Air to continue its digital transformation by eliminating paper-based flight information on the ground and in the air.

The new service agreement continues a long-standing customer relationship, which includes tailored Jeppesen digital navigation information for the airline. Jeppesen´s mobile EFB solutions help airlines operate more efficiently through real time, data-driven information presented on screen that is displayed per pilot preference. The reduction of paper-based flight information also reduces weight in the cockpit and leads to significant annual fuel savings.
