Deutsche Telekom's Mobilbox Pro Service to add Nuance Dragon Voicemail-to-Text

Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) said that its successful Dragon voicemail-to-text platform has been chosen by leading network operator, Deutsche Telekom, to enrich its existing Mobilbox Pro service branded “Spracherkennung,” translated to “Speech Recognition” in English, for its subscribers in Germany.

By transcribing voicemail messages into easily accessible text messages, clearly arranged within the platform´s app, Deutsche Telekom will keep people connected to friends, family and colleagues no matter where they are.

Deutsche Telekom´s service, Mobilbox Pro, already allows subscribers to access their voicemails directly on their device via an app without having to call into a separate service to retrieve them. And now, with Dragon Voicemail-to-Text, subscribers can simply read their messages, with the option to listen as desired. From there, people can send or forward voice messages as text messages.
