Elecsys plans production facility expansion

Elecsys Corp. (NASDAQ: ESYS) said it has announced a planned expansion to its Olathe, Kansas production facility.

The project will expand the company´s production facility by over 40 percent to a total of 85,000 sq ft. and should provide additional capacity to accommodate the projected growth of the company´s business over the next several years. The facility expansion will be constructed by Miller Stauch Construction who anticipates completion of the additional space in summer 2015.

Elecsys worked with the city of Olathe and has been approved for both industrial revenue bonds and a tax abatement to develop the project.
