HP (NYSE: HPQ) said that the United States Air Force has issued a five-year blanket purchase agreement for HP single-function and multifunction printers and consumables for its digital printing and imaging initiative.
The Air Force´s DPI initiative is based on five key elements of its imaging and printing environment, including savings, security, standardization, simplification and streamlining. The new five-year agreement reconfirmed trust in HP´s proven ability to assess and manage imaging and printing devices and processes on a global scale.
Previously, HP received a blanket purchase agreement for DPI in 2008.
