Mitel(R) (NASDAQ: MITL) (TSX: MNW) said it has announced a comprehensive new partner program in North America that aligns to Mitel´s continued focus on value added resellers, as well as on cloud communications by including targeted new tracks to support cloud providers and carriers.
As part of the new program, Mitel has updated its reward system for all partners, recognizing both revenue success as well as IT and technical skill credentials with incentives for partners that take steps toward continued success. This includes technical and sales certifications, operational efficiency and installation expertise as well as specialized expertise in contact centre, cloud and hospitality solutions. Each focus area aims to result in improved customer experience. The program will first apply to all existing Mitel partners in North America, taking effect in the US and Canada in early July, 2014 with a rollout beginning in early 2015 to new partners joining the Mitel network through recent mergers and acquisitions.
