New Barracuda web filter update extends support for Google Chromebooks

Barracuda Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: CUDA) said it has released the new Barracuda Web Filter version 8.0, further extending the company´s support of mobility initiatives for K-12 organizations.

Support for Chromebooks Administrators now can leverage proxy authentication on the Barracuda Web Filter to enforce user-based policies on Chromebooks in addition to Windows and MacBooks for users browsing outside the network perimeter.
