US Airways enhances relationship with Iberia through codeshare agreement

US Airways, part of American Airlines Group, said it has announced the launch of its codeshare agreement with trans-Atlantic joint business partner Iberia, further enhancing its relationship with the carrier and providing customers increased access to major destinations throughout Spain and beyond.

The codeshare will launch in a phased approach and initially includes all of the two carriers´ trans-Atlantic flights. The US Airways code will be placed on Iberia flights from Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York (JFK) to Madrid. Customers traveling with Iberia will now be able to book codeshare travel on US Airways flights from 18 destinations in Europe to Charlotte and Philadelphia.
