Virgin America said it has reported its preliminary operational results for May 2014 and the first five months of the year.
The airline´s traffic (measured in revenue passenger miles) decreased 0.6 percent on capacity (measured in available seat miles) that was 2.5 percent lower than in the same month in 2013.
Load factor was 84.5 percent, up 1.6 points from May 2013. The number of onboard passengers decreased 1.7 percent over the same month last year.
