Jeppesen Flight Planning Services signs planning service contract with Jazeera Airways

Jeppesen, a part of Boeing Digital Aviation, recently agreed to a new five-year flight planning service contract with Jazeera Airways, a leading regional carrier in the Middle East, based out of Kuwait.

Jeppesen services included in the agreement will optimize flight planning capabilities and reduce overall operating costs for the airline.

Jeppesen is a Boeing (NYSE: BA) subsidiary and part of the Digital Aviation business unit within Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. Boeing offers the industry´s largest portfolio of services, support and solutions, collectively known as the Boeing Edge, providing customers a competitive advantage by solving real operational problems, enabling better decisions, maximizing efficiency and improving environmental performance intelligent information solutions across the entire aviation ecosystem.

Established in 2005, Jazeera Airways Group is a Kuwait Stock Exchange-listed company with a fleet of 14 fully-owned Airbus A320s, distributed between its airline business, Jazeera Airways (eight aircraft), and its fully-owned leasing-arm Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (six aircraft).The Group will take delivery of its 15th aircraft in May 2014. Jazeera Airways is based in Kuwait.
