Cbeyond fiber network availability now extends to SMBs

Cbeyond, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBEY) said it has announced advancements of its dark fibre on-net and near-net buildout strategy in which SMBs can eap the rewards of broadband high-bandwidth fibre optic networks.

Companies and partners interested in tapping into Cbeyond´s TotalNetwork fibre network nationwide can check Cbeyond Near Net availability in their area at www.cbeyond.com/services/network/fibre-near-net.

Cbeyond launched fully-managed, fibre-based broadband networks under its TotalNetwork service in much of its footprint in 2012 and is now extending that buildout initiative by deploying dark fibre, which can be turned on as customer demand dictates, to buildings both on its network (on-net) and, as requested, in close proximity to Cbeyond´s fibre rings (near-net). The emphasis will be on large, multi-tenant buildings in Cbeyond markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The company started to deploy dark fibre in Atlanta, Dallas and Denver in 2012. Additional projects began in 2013 in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
