Bristow Group approves 28% dividend increase

Bristow Group Inc. (NYSE: BRS) said that its board of directors has approved a 28 percent increase in the company´s dividend, resulting in a quarterly dividend of USD0.32 per share, up from USD0.25 per share previously.

The dividend will be payable on June 19, 2014 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 5, 2014. There were 35,585,384 shares of Bristow´s common stock issued and outstanding as of May 16, 2014.

Bristow Group is the provider of helicopter services to the worldwide offshore energy industry based on the number of aircraft operated and one of two helicopter service providers to the offshore energy industry with global operations. The company has major transportation operations in the North Sea, Nigeria and the US Gulf of Mexico, and in most of the other major offshore oil and gas producing regions of the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Russia and Trinidad.
