Gogo certified by FAA, JCAB to install Ku-satellite-based service on Japan Airlines aircraft

Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) said it has received a supplemental type certificate from the FAA and certification from the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) to install Gogo´s Ku-satellite based connectivity service on Japan Airlines´ 767-300 aircraft.

The 767-300 is the third aircraft type in JAL´s fleet to receive FAA and JCAB approval for installation.

Gogo has partnered with JAL to install connectivity service and Gogo Vision – Gogo´s wireless in-flight entertainment service on JAL´s domestic fleet and the certification is a key milestone in the installation process.
