WestJet said its April 2014 traffic had a load factor of 82.3 per cent, with revenue passenger miles up 6.5 per cent year-over-year, and capacity, measured in available seat miles, up 7.1 per cent over the same period.
The airline flew 1.6 million guests in April, a year-over-year increase of 7.7 per cent or approximately 116,000 additional guests.
