Royal Brunei Airlines picks Pratt and Whitney PurePower Engines for A320neos

Royal Brunei Airlines said it has signed a letter of intent with Pratt and Whitney for PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power seven firm A320neo aircraft (together with three options).

Pratt and Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Royal Brunei Airlines, the country´s flag carrier, was established in 1974. The company provides scheduled services across Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and to the United Kingdom. As an added convenience to its passengers, the airline has code-share agreements allowing passengers to co-ordinate flights for seamless travel to a wider choice of destinations.

Pratt and Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, auxiliary and ground power units, and small turbojet propulsion products.
