Microsoft plans innovation center in Miami

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) said its plans to open the first US-based Microsoft Innovation Center later this spring.

Located in Miami, Florida, the centre will be equipped with the latest technology and tools to help drive job creation, increase the number and availability of highly skilled technology specialists, and facilitate collaboration among a variety of diverse groups in the greater Miami area. This facility will be the first of a series of new Microsoft Innovation Centers to be established across the United States, and will also serve as the flagship technology centre connecting Miami to key communities in the Latin American (LATAM) region.

Founded in 1975, Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential.
