Ideal Aerosmith said that it is manufacturing a non-magnetic, fully automated, three-axis motion simulator with thermal chambers for leading energy services provider, Halliburton.

The Trip Guardian 2203 will be used to test Halliburton directional drilling tools and instruments before they are deployed into the field. Work has already begun, and the Trip Guardian 2203 for Halliburton is anticipated to be fully operational by the end of 2014.

Ideal Aerosmith will be responsible for manufacturing, installing and calibrating the Trip Guardian 2203 system, and once it is in service, the Trip Guardian 2203 is expected to be used extensively by Halliburton calibration personnel.

The company is headquartered in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and has manufacturing and engineering facilities in East Grand Forks, Minnesota; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Menlo Park, California; and Phoenix, Arizona.
