ChyronHego cuts costs for providing live virtual graphics to football broadcasts

ChyronHego (NASDAQ: CHYR) said it has launched Virtual 1st, an easy-to-operate football system for adding state-of-the-art virtual graphics to live football broadcasts.

The system employs video overlay and sensorless camera technology to help broadcasters quickly analyze gameplay and provide greater insight to fans. It enables a single operator to insert first down lines, lines of scrimmage in the colour of choice, and animated down and distance arrows that can be customized to the unique style of the broadcaster.
