Vancouver International Airport said it was named the number one airport in North America for the fifth consecutive year by Skytrax World Airport Awards in Barcelona, Spain.
Known informally in the travel industry as the Passenger Choice Awards, the Skytrax World Airport Awards are the global benchmark of airport excellence. Awards are based on passenger surveys conducted independently with stringent impartiality.
“To earn a fifth consecutive ranking as the top airport in North America as voted by passengers all over the world is truly a remarkable feat,” said Craig Richmond, CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority.
