CyrusOne helps RigNet expand data center capacity in Houston

Global data centre services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) said that RigNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RNET) has expanded its operations at the Houston West data centre campus.

“We´re very pleased to be providing RigNet with a colocation solution that includes the CyrusOne National Internet Exchange (National IX),” said Dottie Spruce, executive vice president of sales at CyrusOne. “Using the National IX allows RigNet to have IT infrastructure collocated in multiple interconnected data centers and also stay close to its customers in the energy market.”

CyrusOne´s Houston West data centre campus is a geophysical computing centre of excellence with 31 megawatts of critical power load and a high-performance compute (HPC) environment that can deliver up to 900 watts per square foot.
