Vancouver Airport Authority signs deal with Atlanta airport automated passport control kiosks

13 March 2014

Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR) said it has announced the sale of 74 automated passport control BorderXpress kiosks to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

The kiosk technology is to help expedite the customs entry process for eligible passengers at ATL.

BorderXpress APC kiosks typically reduce the US Customs and Border Protection inspection process by 89 percent, while cutting passenger wait times in half and lowering airport operating costs.

Vancouver Airport Authority is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that manages Vancouver International Airport. For more information, visit www.yvr.ca.
