Finnair traffic down 2% in February YoY

In February, Finnair (HEX: FIA) traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometres decreased by 3.5 per cent and the overall capacity decreased by 2.0 per cent yearâ€onâ€year.

Passenger load factor decreased by 1.2 percentage points and was 79.4 per cent.

The capacity in Asian traffic grew by 0.4 per cent and the traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometres decreased by 0.7 per cent yearâ€onâ€year.

European traffic grew by 9.1 per cent and capacity by 3.4 per cent year-on-year.

Leisure traffic measured in decreased by 27.5 per cent and capacity decreased by 22.5 per cent year-on-year.

In cargo, traffic measured in revenue tonne kilometres grew by 4.6 per cent and the overall capacity grew by 2.4 per cent year-on-year. The load factor improved by 1.3 percentage points from last year´s level and was 63.0 per cent.

In February, 85.2 per cent of scheduled flights arrived on schedule (84.4). Of all traffic, 84.6 per cent (83.0) of flights were on schedule.
