All Texas counties offer online vehicle registration renewal

The Texas Legislature, Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), and Texas.gov just made it easier for Texans to renew their vehicle registration.

As of January 1, 2014, all 254 Texas counties offer the option for online renewals a simple, secure way to keep your vehicle registration current.

All you need to get started is your license plate and VIN numbers, your insurance information, and a valid credit card. You can also view a short demo with step-by-step instructions for completing your renewal online at the Texas.gov YouTube channel.

Texas.gov is the official website of the state of Texas (www.texas.gov) and is a collaborative public/private partnership managed by the Department of Information Resources. Texas NICUSA builds, operates, maintains, and markets Texas.gov and is part of egovernment firm NIC´s (NASDAQ: EGOV) family of companies.

NIC is the nation´s provider of official government websites, online services, and secure payment processing solutions. Additional information is available at www.egov.com.
