General Dynamics unit gets contract to provide software development for TSA

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems was awarded an USD8.2m task order by the US Department of Homeland Security´s Transportation Security Administration to provide software development, open architecture systems integration and operations and maintenance support services for the Security Technology Integration Program.

This task order, awarded under a five-year single-source blanket purchase agreement, is for work exclusive to the TSA´s STIP program.

General Dynamics will provide full lifecycle software development, maintenance and integration support to TSA and manufacturers of transportation security equipment.
