To improve the efficiency of processing arriving US and Canadian international air travelers through the US Customs and Border Protection process,

GCR Inc. said its new automated passport control (APC) kiosks were installed at Houston´s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in January.

Using a 22″ LCD touchscreen, the APC Kiosks collect passenger´s passport and flight information, declaration data, take their photograph, scan ï¬ngerprints and issue a receipt. Passengers proceed with their passport and receipt to the US Customs and Border Protection officer for final verification.
