RingCentral, Inc. (NYSE: RNG) said that Bowman Trailer Leasing, a regional provider of road trailers, storage trailers, and sea containers, chose RingCentral Office to communicate with customers across its 32 locations and remote workers throughout the East Coast of the United States.
Prior to RingCentral, Bowman Trailer Leasing used separate on-premise private branch exchange systems to manage business communications across its 32 locations. The company´s reliance on a hardware-based system caused expensive scalability issues at headquarters and management hardships for a resource-constrained IT department. Bowman´s old solution was difficult and expensive to maintain, requiring hiring costly outside technicians to make even minor changes to the legacy system. Additionally, since the old system had reached its scalability limits, employees were forced to share extensions and mailboxes.
