Lantronix 2014 Q2 revenue down

Lantronix, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX) said net revenue was USD11.0m for the second quarter of fiscal 2014, a decrease of USD1.2m, compared to USD12.2m for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 and an increase of USD85,000, compared to USD10.9m for the first quarter of fiscal 2014.

The year-over-year decline in net revenue was primarily due to a decrease in sales of mature product families.

Gross profit as a percentage of net revenue was 49.6% for the second quarter of fiscal 2014, compared to 49.6% for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 and 49.5% for the first quarter of fiscal 2014.

Operating expenses were USD5.7m for the second quarter of fiscal 2014, a decrease of USD679,000, compared to USD6.4m for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 and an increase of USD76,000, compared to USD5.6m for the first quarter of fiscal 2014.
