Silver Spring Networks expands SilverLink offerings to accelerate application development

Silver Spring Networks, Inc. (NYSE: SSNI) said it has expanded the Silver Spring Partner Program in support of its new SilverLink Sensor Network, a new approach to unlocking insights from real-time Smart Grid data to enable breakthrough business value.

With the SilverLink Sensor Network, vast quantities of previously unavailable data can now easily be delivered to third-party software, fueling innovative new applications and services. Silver Spring plans to make a wide array of new applications readily available to utilities, sensor network operators, and consumers through a SilverLink App Store that will include new applications from Silver Spring and members of its partner community as they come to market. Partners including AutoGrid, Bidgely, DVI, MongoDB, ONZO, Plotwatt, and Sentient are already engaging with Silver Spring to leverage the SilverLink Sensor Network.
