New Modular Devices DC/DC Converter needs no external EMI filter

16 January 2014

Modular Devices, Inc. said it has released a compact new DC/DC converter that meets MIL-STD-461 D, E and F without any need for external EMI filtering.

Series 3090 converters enable more efficient compliance with the latest Electromagnetic Interference Compatibility (EMC) requirements for aerospace, defense, and civil aviation airborne electronics.

“The small size and high compatibility of the 3090 series make it a valuable solution to engineering design challenges as the demand for quieter DC/DC converters becomes more prevalent,” states MDI president Steven E. Summer. “Moreover, the 3090 design allows companies to stock a single part for different applications.”

Modular Devices is an ISO 9001: 2008 registered company that manufactures all products in the USA. MDI specializes in the rapid design, development and manufacture of robust, state-of-the-art DC/DC converters, power supplies, power controllers, and power distribution products for military, commercial space, and aerospace applications.
